Chahan Vidal-Gorène 

 Calfa

After studies in mathematics at the Université Pierre et Marie Curie and Armenolgy at the Institut National des Langues et Civilisations Orientales, Chahan Vidal-Gorène is currently pursuing a PhD in Armenian paleography and Artificial Intelligence at the École Nationale des Chartes, with the support of Paris Sciences et Lettres Research University and the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation.
His fields of research include the evolution of Armenian letters, manuscript dating, and automatic recognition of handwritten characters. He is the founder of Calfa, a start-up that specialises in natural language processing and in developing intelligent systems dedicated to cultural heritage for professionals and institutions.
